Auburn Tigers: College Town - War Eagle on the Plains

Project Objectives

• Focus on Auburn’s iconic traditions. In the pickup‑shoot brief, Connor highlighted two priorities: filming the eagle flying into the stadium and capturing fans “tee‑peeing” Toomer’s Corner after the game.

• Provide dynamic game‑day footage. Toyota wanted an energetic episode that showcased the spirit of Auburn football.

Project Scope

• Pre‑production: We confirmed a two‑camera setup for Auburn and ensured press credentials were filed for our crew. We reviewed shot lists emphasizing the eagle flight and Toomer’s Corner.

• Production: During pregame warmups we stationed a long‑lens camera to capture the eagle’s flight around Jordan–Hare Stadium. Additional cameras roamed the stadium and downtown Auburn to film tailgates, the Tiger Walk, and post‑game celebrations at Toomer’s Corner where fans threw toilet paper into trees. Alcohol was not filmed and all interviews included verbal consent.

• Post‑production: Footage was uploaded promptly and labeled to highlight the eagle‑flight sequence and Toomer’s Corner scenes.

Results

• The Auburn episode featured dramatic slow‑motion footage of the eagle soaring and the chaotic yet joyous scene at Toomer’s Corner. Viewers praised the cinematography and how it captured Auburn’s unique traditions.

Lessons Learned
